Lightly raced 8yo who was tailed off last month at Lingfield (2m7f, soft) on his return from a long absence; that run leaves him with plenty to prove on this third run over fences.

The best of five chase runs when second at Fakenham two starts back (on good but handles soft); wasn't at the same level last time at Sedgefield, though the cheekpieces tried there are removed here.

Verdict

It’s difficult to know what to expect from Ronnies Reflection who has been good and bad during the festive period. Celtic Fortune would be a safer proposition but there could be a big run in PUDDLESINTHEPARK, whose latest show at Hereford offered hope that he might be able to exploit his good mark. The Midwife is another to consider on her chasing debut.[Alistair Jones]
