Hereford bumper winner who was highly tried in that scene afterwards; made a low-key start over hurdles at Huntingdon (2m3f, good; 13-8) but she should be capable of a lot better than that.

Things haven't dropped quite right in five defeats and she was a bit too keen when a beaten favourite last time at Hereford (2m3f, good to soft); may have more ability than she's shown and dropping in distance could work.

Won mares' maiden hurdle at Bangor (2m, heavy) last February and was bang there when falling two out on handicap debut at Kempton (3m, good) in November; disappointing on both runs since (3m/2m4f) and has something to prove but perhaps the drop back in trip will help this headstrong mare.

Made all for Bangor maiden win (2m, heavy) last February; had every chance when falling on her reappearance (3m handicap) and was too free for comfort at Kempton over Christmas, again at 3m; probably on a fair mark and she's back in trip; chance.

Easily won a 3m2f Doncaster mares' handicap in March 2025 for Harry Derham (good) and denied only close home in points at Revesby Park (3m) and Bangor-on-Dee (2m4f) this year; have to hope last-time failure doesn't presage a return to last autumn's rules struggles, however.

Easy winner of a 3m2f Doncaster mares' handicap in March on just her second chase outing (good), but checked out too tamely for the 9lb rise to be accountable when turned over at 1-9 in a Fakenham match next time, and has since left Harry Derham (for £9,000); stable debut.

Bumped into a improver when second on handicap debut at Ffos Las (2m4f, good) last March and held every chance before last-flight fall on seasonal reappearance there (2m6f, soft) in November; chasing has not gone to plan on her last two outings but she reverts to hurdling on a good mark and with a new visor fitted; big player if back on song.

0-4 over hurdles but looked suited by the step up in trip when keeping-on second behind an improver on handicap debut here (2m4f, good; first-time tongie-tie) in March; had wind op during eight-month break; open to more improvement if this stiffer stamina test suits.

Twice runner-up over hurdles in France (heavy/very soft); weak 6-1 chance when never really in contention for a Listed fillies' hurdle race at Newbury a month ago; wasn't given a hard time and receives plenty of weight from her elders here.

Verdict

This could easily be won by the ex-French Miss Altea Blue who wasn’t given too hard a time when fifth in a Listed hurdle at Newbury and she’s receiving weight from her elders. However, there’s a strong suspicion that I’VE MADEUPMYMIND has yet to do herself true justice and she earns marginal preference. Future Fortune can also do better.[Alistair Jones]
