Form & Verdict
Won twice over hurdles for Ben Pauling; not disgraced in either the County Hurdle or the Swinton for his new trainer this year and made a winning return to fences when finishing alone at Cartmel (2m1f, good) three weeks ago; that win should have done his confidence a world of good and he should take all the beating.

Both wins came at Huntingdon when trained by Ben Pauling; made his stable debut in the County Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, when not beaten far, and he wasn't disgraced when hooded and held up out the back in the Swinton at Haydock (favourite) two weeks ago; this will feel like a drop in the ocean in comparison and, although turned over at a short price last October in his only chase, he should make light work of these two rivals on his return to fences.

Lightly raced for his age; caught the eye in no uncertain terms when twelfth of 23 in the County at Cheltenham on first start for current yard, travelling smoothly but short of room in straight and finishing full of running; very best efforts for previous stables came on good ground and he missed the Scottish Champion when the rain came; still unexposed and a fascinating contender in a first-time hood.

Form & Verdict
Won three times (2m2f, 2m4f) when trained in Ireland last summer; unplaced in three valuable handicap hurdles (2m4f-2m7f) for new trainer this spring; the drop back in trip for his chasing debut may not be in his favour.

Won three consecutive handicaps last summer up to 2m4f for Donncha Duggan; some fine runs in defeat after including since switched to this yard; has to prove he stays this trip.

Consistent results in Ireland this term featured three summer wins; not disgraced with midfield finish at the Cheltenham Festival (2m4f, soft) on debut for new stable but needs to improve on that bare form.

Form & Verdict
Dual winner over hurdles and made a winning chase debut at Bangor (2m1f, good) four weeks ago; that race did fall apart with none of his rivals running their races and he has been whacked up 10lb as a result; that should still have given his confidence a boost.

Productive autumn included a Carlisle hurdles win (2m1f, good) off 4lb lower; two flops either side of a late fall since March, however, and doesn't enter this chasing debut in the same good heart as some.

Landed his second win over hurdles on his reappearance at Carlisle (2m1f, good) in October and ran well on his next three starts; pulled up at Haydock last month but was in the process of running a good race when falling two out at Sedgefield (2m1f, good) 16 days ago in first-time cheekpieces (retained); decent ground looks to be the key and he should run well.

Form & Verdict
Won twice over hurdles at Taunton over 2m3f for previous yard; after a promising chase debut at Aintree in October he took a backward step at Exeter the following month; returns from a seven-month break with new trainer but may need to go back up in trip to find a winning opportunity.

Low-mileage 6yo who came good over hurdles with two 2m3f wins at Taunton (good to soft/soft) last winter; absent since 2m4f second at Sandown in February but should cope with the drop back in trip on this chasing debut and has some Irish pointing experience to call upon.

Won readily on handicap debut at Taunton (2m3f, good to soft) and again had something to spare there (2m3f, soft) nine days later, when unpenalised; hit with 8lb rise but this unexposed 6yo could still be well treated.

Form & Verdict
Won twice over hurdles for Dan Skelton last November; pulled up on his chase debut after reported to have bled from the nose at Bangor four weeks ago and subsequently sold for £5,000; regular hood is left off on stable debut and best to proceed with caution.

Made all for two good-ground novice hurdle wins last November (2m, 2m3f); lesser form this year likely more to do with a refusal to settle under restraint than the move to handicaps, but a return to previous tactics may put him in a pace battle with a few here; chasers in pedigree.

Verdict

This should be another win for TELLHERTHENAME after a confidence-boosting win at Bangor three weeks ago, where he finished alone. The main danger is King Ulanda who made a winning chase debut, also at Bangor four weeks ago, even though he has been hit with a 10lb rise. Ballykinlar was fairly useful over hurdles which bodes well for his chasing debut and he should not be underestimated despite maybe needing further.[Andrew Bladen]
