Verdict
Plenty have possibilities in this open race. Silver Sword just about sets the standard on his second over this trip at Lingfield last month, while David Simcock has two interesting contenders in the returning Super Mo and the well-bred newcomer Pfingstberg. Inny Lad and Andrew Balding’s debutant Green Machine also enter the reckoning but the vote goes to CAVERN CLUB, who has been placed in all of his three runs this autumn and was strong at the finish when a clear third at Wolverhampton last time.[David Moon]
