This is competitive. Four runners arrive on the back of recent successes and the pick of them could be Gardener who looks to have been allotted a manageable mark for his handicap debut. Thereisnodoubt’s 7lb penalty is offset by Patrick Wadge’s claim and he’s also high on the list, with his stablemate Chapel Green another to consider. However, the vote goes to HOLD UP LA COLMINE, narrowly beaten when favourite for a Lingfield maiden last month and open to improvement now tackling handicaps.
