Verdict
Pats Choice has plenty of experience over fences and ought to act as a good benchmark but the two chasing debutants at the top of the racecard were useful novice hurdlers last season and switch to this code with considerable potential. SNAKE ROLL seems lucky to have escaped a nudge up the weights for his very close second here in April and is given the verdict. Idalko Bihoue lost his way after the turn of the year but will be hard to beat if somewhere close to form of his Grade 1 third in December.[Chris Wilson]
