Only scraped home from a closing Gstaad in the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot (good to firm) last time but the race didn't go fully smoothly and he also perhaps hit the front sooner than ideal over that stiff 1m; beat that rival more impressively at Newmarket on reappearance to become, on RPRs, the joint-best 2,000 Guineas winner since Frankel; still unbeaten (5-5) and, given his general trajectory, remains an exciting miler who could dominate this division for the rest of the season. |

Hugely progressive and unbeaten in his four races, all over 1m on good/firmer; impressively bagged Classic honours at Newmarket in sole start this term, earning an RPR that makes him the joint-best 2,000 Guineas winner since Frankel; the next two home - Gstaad and Distant Storm - franked the form by filling the first two places in the Irish version; sets a tall standard, accordingly, and his trajectory brings the tantalising prospect of even bigger figures; massively exciting colt. |

Son of 2,000 Guineas winner Night Of Thunder and from the family of Dubawi; three from three last term, all starts over 1m, driven out for 1l success in the Royal Lodge at Newmarket (good to firm; Group 2) the final time; that wasn't necessarily a star performance but he keeps getting the job done and commands major respect, being a progressive colt who has a perfect record and has had a "faultless spring" according to his trainer; furthermore, he's already proven over C&D. |

Rock-solid performer whose success in the Irish 2,000 Guineas is flanked by good efforts behind Bow Echo at Newmarket (beaten almost 3l, pair well clear) and Royal Ascot (nearly collared him); admittedly the bare result last time may not be fully reliable, given the way the race panned out and the stiff 1m; however, this smart colt is certainly reliable, having never finished out of the first two, and is again an important player in another rematch with his nemesis. |

Very solid performer who continues to improve steadily and has never finished out of the first two; readily landed the Coventry at this meeting 12 months ago and has performed well at Group/Grade 1 level since, most recently registering a 3l success in the Irish 2,000 Guineas at the Curragh, taking record over 1m to 2-3; clear best of the remainder behind Bow Echo at Newmarket earlier in May and should give the rematch his best shot. |

Beat stablemate True Love on debut before landing the Coventry Stakes; second in three consecutive Group 1 races, including the National Stakes and the Dewhurst; ended the campaign by overcoming a wide trip in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf at Del Mar (1m, firm); has evidently trained on and can go one better than in the 2,000 Guineas by upholding form with Distant Storm. |

E1,900,000 breeze-up purchase last spring; very smart juvenile form, aside from when pulling too hard in the Acomb; impressed in winning a 1m Group 3 event at Newmarket in September before a fine third placing (1 1/2l behind Gstaad) in the Dewhurst; now has an 8l deficit to overturn in another clash with Gstaad following his distant 2,000 Guineas third; first-time cheekpieces. |

Aptly bred, being by Night Of Thunder and out of a mare by another 2,000 Guineas winner, namely George Washington; 1,900,000euros breeze-up purchase last spring and duly made a big splash in his 2yo races, aside from when pulling too hard in the Acomb; showed smart from at Newmarket (7f, good/good to firm) in the autumn, impressing in the Tattersalls Stakes (Group 3) then running well (one place behind Gstaad) in the Dewhurst; yard has landed this prize three times in the last four years; big player. |

1,900,000euros breeze-up purchase; pulled too hard in the Acomb but that defeat is flanked by Newmarket wins; debut form has worked out well and he was impressive in the Goup 3 Tattersalls Stakes over C&D (good) last time having settled better than at York; looks a Group 1 performer in the making and commands respect. |

Second in the 6f Group 2 Mill Reef Stakes as a 2yo; shaped really well when fourth in the 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket (1m, good to firm) on return, fading after disputing lead until over 1f out; that form has worked out notably well and this intermediate distance should suit him down to the ground; strong contender. |

Showed useful form over 6.5f and 6f at Newbury (good/good to soft) last season, winning a maiden by sizeable margin then clear second in the Mill Reef (Group 2; hung left; collared near the finish); good prospect for Jim Boyle this term but doesn't appear to be crying out for 1m. |

Chesham Stakes runner-up here in 2025; convincing winner of Leopardstown Group 3 (7f, good to yielding) on reappearance before racing freely in 2,000 Guineas and Irish 2,000 Guineas; has had more racing than most of these and has to carry a penalty but should be suited by this return to 7f. |

Won the Group 3 Craven on the Rowley Mile here in April (1m, good) in first-time cheekpieces; soundly beaten in Group 1s on next two starts and same outcome in Group 3 Hampton Court at Royal Ascot (1m2f, good to firm); blinkers replace the cheekpieces and the drop back in trip could help; in with a chance on his best form, even under a 5lb penalty, but has to get back on track. |

Won the Group 3 Craven at Newmarket (1m, good) in April in first-time cheekpieces (retained) then kept on for respectable sixth in the 2,000 Guineas there (1m, good to firm); faded when 12th of 16 in the Group 1 Prix du Jockey Club at Chantilly (10.5f, good) but this trip may well be within range if he settles better; not ruled out back down in grade under 4lb penalty. |

Very useful colt but possibly needs to dominate, having gained both wins from the front, latest when taking well to first-time cheekpieces and comfortably beating Avicenna by 2l in the Craven Stakes over C&D (good; Group 3) on seasonal debut; by no means certain to have his own way in this bigger field and he's held by a couple of today's opponents on Dewhurst running; otherwise may have more to offer in the retained headgear. |

Debut winner at two on soft and later beat this year's 1,000 Guineas heroine True Love in the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes (6f, good); no more than minor roles in three 1m Group 1s this season before justifying favouritism when his sights were lowered in a Curragh Group 2 last month (7f, good to firm); he didn't exactly blow his rivals away that day and he's probably playing for the places, for all that a fast-run race at 7f might be his ideal scenario these days. |

Won a Group 1 over 6f here on his final juvenile start (good); runner-up behind subsequent Royal Ascot and Group 1 winner on his reappearance in a Group 3 over 7f at Leopardstown in April (good to yielding); probably not up to the top level as shown in three Group 1 runs over 1m since, but his latest two were meritable; big danger dropping in class and trip; top rated of the field too; stable a little cold currently though. |

Won on good to firm as 2yo; 80-1 when among the backmarkers in the 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket (1m, good to firm) in May in first-time cheekpieces; all change with blinkers, 1m3f and heavy going for the Derby Italiano at Milan 17 days ago and it worked a treat as he came home strongly from midfield to win in the final strides; that was a doughty performance and this is another Group 2, but he faces stronger opposition. |

Has plenty to find in this field and needs to settle better to boot, having raced too freely in Listed event last time when bidding for a Newcastle (1m, AW) double; behind Distant Storm on sole turf attempt; unlikely to emulate his sire Night Of Thunder, who landed this prize in 2014. |

Promising fourth at Newmarket (7f, good to firm) last July on sole 2yo start and he easily justified 1-6 odds in a four-runner novice over this C&D four weeks ago; today is a much tougher test of his credentials but this 2,000 Guineas entry could have plenty more to offer for his top northern yard. |

Narrow winner of a maiden over an extended 6f (soft) on his debut at Newbury last October; reappeared in the Greenham at the same venue and emerged with credit in finishing fourth of eight, looking in need of a stronger gallop; still looked raw when running in the 2,000 Guineas, eased when beaten; interesting here if he emerges more mature after three months off. |

Similar to Into The Sky in having raced at Newbury on both starts; did just enough to win 2yo maiden (6.5f, soft) then ran well, about 2l fourth to Alparslan, in the Greenham (7f, good); the way he shaped last time suggests additional improvement is plausible upped further in trip; by 2,000 Guineas winner Night Of Thunder; more interesting than bare ratings suggest. |

Progressed well in his first three outings, with 7f 2yo wins at Doncaster (good to firm/good) and a promising second in the Craven (raced freely, bit short of room), but he ran no sort of race in the 2,000 Guineas (last of 14; 14-1) seven weeks ago; still low-mileage and could bounce back. |

Two from two last year, both starts over 7f at Doncaster and getting up on the line in Listed grade the second time; finished nicely for 2l second to Oxagon, who dictated the pace, in the Craven over C&D (good) on reappearance having again been held up; open to further progress and could pick up some pieces in this big-field scenario, assuming the gallop is suitably strong. |
