Verdict
Preference is for GEORGE MORLAND, who turned things around when scoring off a reduced mark over C&D 17 days ago and is only 2lb higher than for that brave success. The main danger is Ford Madox Brown, who has been knocking on the door in his last four starts including when runner-up behind the selection here two weeks ago. Most of the others have something to prove but Ralph Beckett’s very lightly raced handicap newcomer Puffing needs watching in the market.[David Moon]
