Verdict
Most of these come with risks attached but the Charltons’ lightly raced 3yo MAOKAI really got his act together with a convincing win at Chepstow last month. He has a 5lb rise to deal with but is open to more progress and gets the vote in his bid to make it 2-2 in handicaps. Naasma finished well to go close on her handicap/stable debut at Epsom last month and she’s feared most on her step back up in trip. Others who could be in the mix are Shabano and Lelabad.[David Moon]
