9th Jul 2026 Good To Firm 1m 5f 0y Class 1 |
9st 3lb |
A promising, scopey sort from a famous middle-distance family; progressive form in maidens, without a win, prior to his huge run at 100-1 in the Derby at Epsom (1m4f, soft) nearly five weeks ago when he came from towards rear to finish about 7l fifth of 14; kept on well at the finish, as if this longer trip will suit; faces very different ground today (he's unraced on firmer than good) but he's a big player if that is not a problem. |

Travelled well and challenged from the rear at Newbury (1m3f, good; 17-2) on reappearance seven weeks ago, sticking to his task manfully too while chasing home an exciting prospect at a respectful distance; a promising, scopey sort from a famous middle-distance family but his progressive form in maidens, without a win, does not make him a serious Derby contender. |

Beaten just over 5l in both 2yo starts, placed at Kempton (1m, AW) latest; seemingly thought capable of much better, being entered in the Dante and the Derby; could go well. |

Didn't look straightforward when the race got serious on last two outings but he was nevertheless better at keeping a straight line when cheekpieces were enlisted for six-runner maiden at Sandown (1m2f, good) last time and stuck his neck out well to win by 1l; some improvement is probably needed going handicapping but he has to be considered seriously in this small field. |

Comes with some risk having looked far from straightforward under pressure at Newmarket last time, albeit was perhaps partly unsuited by the track and either way may be aided by first-time headgear today; has shown consistent promise otherwise and holds particularly strong claims on penultimate effort, namely third in above-average maiden at Newbury (1m2f, good) that has worked out well. |

Runner-up here (1m, good) last October on sole 2yo start and he's run well in third on both outings this season (1m2f/1m3f, good to soft/good); he needs something extra today but can give another good account. |

10th Jun 2026 Good 1m 3f 15y Class 3 |
9st 2lb |
550,000gns yearling; steady improvement; beaten just over 7l (fourth) by the exciting Water To Wine on seasonal reappearance at Newbury (1m3f, good), before finishing third in a hot maiden at Chester's May Festival (12.5f maiden); gelded since and this looks the perfect opportunity to strike. |

8th May 2026 Good 1m 4f 63y Class 2 |
9st 7lb |
Sea The Stars colt who cost 550,000gns as a yearling; Dante and Derby entries have gone but he's still in the Irish Derby; that's after his fourth of eight in a strong-looking maiden at Newbury (1m3f, good; 4-1) three weeks ago on second start, in which he saw it out 4l better than Eben Al Khawaneej; major contender, type to improve with his racing. |

18th Apr 2026 Good 1m 3f 0y Class 2 |
9st 7lb |
Sea The Stars colt who cost 550,000gns as a yearling; entered in the Dante, Derby and Irish Derby; promising half-length second of ten, best of the newcomers, at Newcastle (1m, AW) in sole 2yo start; seems likely to progress well this term; respected. |
